SARASWATI
This piece of art was created by Sri. Malay Karmakar on 2007, it took him almost a year (during his studies) to complete this only at the age of 19 years, and received state level award (in 2008-2009 contest). This artist made this after Being inspired by south Indian style of carving. To make this the artist had come out of the usual stone carving style and tried to give his own touch in this and a gave a great level of detail to the ornaments of Goddess laxmi by giving it a Jaali design.
